I can see by your posts on Gunboards you have most of the info you need ?

The stock is unsanded and the screw heads unburred while the parkerised finish is even with little wear, all good signs for an original product-you'll always get some marks and dings on a military weapon from storage and handling in service even if it's never actually issued let alone what might happen once it gets sold out of govt ownership.
It is a very nice rifle Joe. Congrats on it, and your new position.........!
