Seeing samnevs great looking Mk I*** in his earlier post prompted me to post my Mk I*** also.
Both of these rifles were sent to Ireland by Britain post war and served with the Free Irish National Army who used them during the 2nd Irish Tready CW in the early 1920's.
They had received some of the Mk III upgrades during 1914-15 period.
Both still retain their volley sights and bolt head charger guides.
The 1st one is dated 1903. and the 2nd one 1906. Ray
