Well, until the new government took over and changed the laws pertaining to firearms, we were able to own live weapons. Was never much call for de-acts down here, ergo the scarcity.
Having them imported is just an exercise in futility......if you eventually do get the go-ahead, it costs an arm and a leg, your wife's arm and leg and probably some other family member's parts.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys...makes it worth while....The PPsh 41 doesnt do a lot really you can strip it & thats it...but it was a reasonable price so I aint complaining...Ade all different weapons really mainly what I can afford & what I wanted when I was younger & couldnt afford or allowed lol..MP40 next me thinks!!!!. The G3 was cheapish about £180, I think they go for around £220 now which still isnt bad for what you get..Im not too worried what you can & cant do with them...I know MP40s go for around £2200 if old deact but Ive seen some new deacts for the £1100 mark so thats what I will be buying..saves a grand!!! lol..more for beer then...
