mystery pistol magazine

Article about: Could be, the wiki page did say that the pistol it probably is for was used by the north Vietnamese army during the war, then again they used anything

    Default mystery pistol magazine

    found this unusual magazine, its 32mm wide, 10mm thick and about 130mm long (excluding the ring thing)

    any ideas?

    hmm, well its similar, tokarev mags have a differnt base and differnt holes cut into one side, but it may be a cheaper type?
    does anyone have tokarev mag diamentions?

    The body of your magazine looks like a French 1935S, although the loop on the floor plate and the follower do not look correct.

    Could it be possible that the spring looks like that but is usualy covered by the floor plate?

    Someone has fitted the wrong base to it. The end of the mag sides have been folded over a new base plate and someone has welded a lanyard ring idea on the base.
