    IF....It is Japanese, it closely resembles the 8mm mag for the model 94 pistol, which was a poorer cousin to the Nambu model 14. the only thing that leaves me suspect is the heavy looking 'foot' on the mag, I am not entirely convinced, so best wait for other folks opinions.

    Its not like any of the japanese pistol mags I've seen, it has similarities to the 94 but there is enough diffrences to discard that one. I think this could be the magazine for a Blank firing Walther PP or P38 in 8mm

    My 8mm blank fire Walther mag dosnt fit my real PP either (I guess by design) but having just noticed your in Texas, I doubt there would be much call or need for a blank firing PP replica.

    Hi there ;
    It seems as it could be for a "Ruby" (generic) type pistol. Fat heel magazines were designed to fit in the relief "cut" at the bottom of gun's grip. What puzzles me is the cut in the magazine's body, denoting a push button and as we know Ruby type pistols had heel type magazine relieve buttons.
