    You should be ashamed of yourself for stealing that from an unsuspecting seller!

    SVT 40s can be addictive. Here is part of my heard. This is an old photo, I now have a shooter and 2 others added to the collection. Still looking for a 44 u. 45 to have one for every year of mfgr.

    Very nice collection you have there, i should start another thread with my entire collection of firearms. Also from my understand they halted production on january 3rd 45 for the SVT's making one from the last year of the war almost none existant. I hope you find one and share it with us.

    I know that they didn't make very many in 45, but didn't know they supposedly quit them that early. I have seen photos of a 45 dated rifle.
    Oh well, looking for one will give me something to do.

    According to some on some other forums im a part of they believe there are under 1000 out there. One user said hes seen 4 all of which were in Canada and had serial numbers with prefix AR and the highest number being 700. So theres atleast 700 out there. Good luck with your search :-)
