A friend has a No 4 Mk 1 that is marked No4 Mk1 ROF (F) 12 43 . What does the " ROF (F) " stand for ?

Hello-it stands for Royal Ordinance Factory-Fazakerley-the factory that produced that example-the numbers are the month & year of production.
