    Hi chaps
Just thought I'd show this little "gem" that I picked up about a week ago
It's a BSA Shirley number 4T From what I can gather, it's an armourers rebuild, most of it is matching numbers Bolt, barrel, action. Looks like the woodwork is a re-work, although it has the S51 code for a Holland and Holland conversion, I do believe this was added later, sadly the mounts and the scope are re-pro's, but it shoots a nice little group.
It has the all important D6 code, TR and T stamp. It has been verified as a genuine example, it's clean tight, and lovely to handle, and shoots like a dream. I suppose I will get a genuine scope, but this repro one is pretty good. As you probably know, genuine 4T's fetch stupid amounts of money, and i think i was "lucky" with this one, as it cost a lot less than you would pay.
    Hope you like it

Certainly looks original, I note a few other markings which reinforce its originality too. I assume that the pads are repro too as the screws are incorrect and not staked.
