here are some more photos. I got what I could get off it. And the sling. It has a little paint on it, probally from a closet, any suggestions to get it off the metal;? and maybe the top hand guard has a little stress crack? seems stable, anyways for what it is not bad I guess right ?

I'm terribly sorry if this is out of place but I'm old school. If this was the vets widow you need to find her and offer her a fair price for the rifle. Just my .02 cents.

I did trust me, I run a business...she didn't want anything else. SHe was moving into a retirement home. I got 3 other rifles. THey were some finnn mosins and such. So it boiled down to 100 bucks for the gun. I offered here more but she wouldn't take it.
