Flobert single shot parlour pistol 19th century I would say.

Could it be a 6mm Flobert instead of a .22 cal? Nearly the same bore, but not the same power. It also looks like it started its life as a Flobert rifle, bur was cut down at one point, and they made another (pistol)grip for it. Late 19th century, thats for sure.

    Aditional information nd warning!

this weapon was designed to fire 6mm ammunition flobert
(the original bullet is propelled by the primer not the gunpowder(low pressure))

accepts ammunition .22 but if you want to try ,starting with .22 short.
pressure of .22LR could damage the gun or cause any accident.

    nice piece.
