Yes, and keep it that way. A set like this, mint condition, original packaging, will in a few decades time be as collectable as percussion cap dueling pistols in a wooden case. As in most collecting for investment, get ahead of the curve.

Thanks Anderson!Original box is always a plus, this pistol is one of the first to come out Made in Isreal ,the newer Desert Eagles are well over 1200.00.I like the cleaner look of these early ones better anyway, the newer ones have the rails.

DE's were never my thing but this is a great piece and with the box. I see an extra space in the box, like an accessory is missing. If so, might want to track down what it was to complete the set.

    Congrats on a great pickup.

Thanks!I found an empty box like this on the bay for 50.00 with some taped up tears, its empty so not sure what is missing in mine, maybe cleaning rod,pad lock?Dont know but will keep researching them. This is the original box for this pistol as has matching ser. no .Think pistol was made mid 80s,its the earliest style box before the hardcase.I am guessing they sold for about 600.00 at the time.600.00 in 1985 coverts to 1365.00 in 2017 ,yep about right, thats what a new DE costs today.I went back in time on this one!

I have no idea myself, just saw those extra slots so thought I would mention it...just in case.

As far as my comment of me not being a fan. It's because these pistols are typically large framed and don't fit my hand too well. Nothing bad about the gun.
