Opinions on Browning M1922

A buddy of mine is selling off some items in his gun collection (previously passed down to him by his father). Opinions would be appreciated on this Browning M1922. The grips are obviously replacement made from what I assume is Plexiglas from an airplane windshield.

Based on the serial number, I believe this was a pre-war pistol captured and put into use by the Germans. Is this correct? Condition isn’t the greatest and I was going to offer around $200 as I would need to find replacement grips. Would this be reasonable?

Not pre war... Made under German occupation of Belgium.. Note third type German WaA proof marks made around 1943... BILL ps well worth 200$

Thank you, Bill. So from what I've read, this would be the most common version, correct? Do you believe the magazine to be original? There are no visible waffenamps or other markings on it.

Also, I did some additional research since my original post and estimate the value at around $300-$400 if complete and in 90% condition. Considering the lack of grips, condition and the magazine potentially being post-war, would $200 still be too low? I know this may seem like an odd question, but this is a good friend and I don't want to screw him over.
