Hi Guys, not something I know anything about, but I thought that you would like to see them. In the collection of the British Army. Not the best of pics, as they were in a case, inside another case.
Cheers, Ade.

Nice looking pistols....... as one would expect
They look nice.Im sitting here wondering if He ever actually fired them? What are the chances?A man of His rank making decisions on the battlefield
no chance, thats why he had the old guard.
I could still be persuaded to accept them, if they need the room in the museum....

Very Nice ! These were likely used for target practice,
although as a pair, they are commonly referred to
as 'Dueling Pistols'.........

Steve.
Hi Ade,
Lovely pair of pistols i love the older stuff as i like to research them, I have just got hold of an Enfield Indian colonial musket ( [percussion cap ) 1850,s needs a good clean but ok.
Dave.
Hi Ade,
Not hi-jacking your post just adding to it. My picture is no better than yours but I also got one of the brass plate that was associated with the guns.
Amazing pair of 'dueling pistols.'
