    I watched a video on these recently... I had no idea they had a spring loaded butt plate to reduce recoil!

    The whole stock portion moves like a piston around the receiver, about an inch in full recoil, I am not sure about the butt plate itself.
    The late model didn't have a butt-plate per-se.

    Pit,
    I want one but it would have to one the is not a deact so I guess I will never have one. The whole recoil system reminds me of the Bren Guns recoiling system. The Bren is one of the most pleasant LMG's to shoot.
