    Hi,

I'm sure it will be very hard for the future generations to understand what was the point with the neutralizing (a.k.a. damaging) of a historic gun.

    Nice one! Thanks for showing!

    Johann,
I like your "rig". This is an interesting pistol. The original finish was parkerized and then coated with a baked black enamel. Some bare the German acceptance stamp E/655 which is scarce.More common is the E/WaA251 stamp.
    Thanks for sharing,
    Jason

Really a intresting gun. Namely because it lack the usual finnish. When Germany runned over France and also MAS-factories, some employees evacuated some guns from the productionline. It would be nice to look this pistol closer cause it seems it has never had the original finnising. Also guns surface seems to be rough, also some corners not so well finished also some stampings are missing - so my conclusion is that this sample of the gun might just be one of the evacuated MAS 1935 pistols - and so the deactivating of it is even moore horrible disaster. The holster is fabulous. Really hard to find and seldom seen.
