Default Pistol Vis 35 radom - grade ?

    Hello out there!

As part of my heritage i got an VIS 35 'Radom'.
    Nice weapon. Works well. But..
This pistol does not fit into the categories i know. Some characteristics:

    - black chequered Bakelit grips with 'VR' and 'VIS' label on
    - Serial number 5665, no prefix (4 digits only)
    - No other label or inscription (e.g. slide legend)
    - Has demounting lever
    - stock slut

Has anybody an idea on production year and why there is no label or inscription at all?
    Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

Actually i don't know. As things look like the pistol came into my Dad's hands before 1970. As fas as i know, no re-finishing after 1970.

OK. It just looks like it has had a re-bluing job somewhere along the way, but I cant be sure from the pics.

Serial number look a bit faint, but might just be the pics or the stage of production.

Not that that would detract from the good looking gun at all.

i will add a picture of the serial tomorrow, so you can have a closer impression.
what i'm really confused by is the missing labelin. has someone removed it? what for?
was it never applied? (pls apologize silly questions. i'm neither collector nor expert. although all hints are welcome to solve this puzzle.)
