I wish I lived in the US But I'm with Kala on this one, its a good idea as you could familiarise yourself with the different drills and handling the weapon possibly with drill/inert ammunition. At the end of the day these things are weapons and were made to kill, so once your old enough to own it as a live firing weapon I suggest that you get a suitable gun safe for it.

Arisakas do have occasional interchangeability issues. Bolts from different makers or even different series within a makers production will not always be interchangeable. This does not mean switching the firing pin out with a ground one is not a good idea, it is, there just may be a chance it will not fit.
