    Sounds like you did alright on this one. Very similar to Remington Model 8 auto loader. Yours was produced in 35 Rem Caliber with 4,913 being made from 1910-1931. My Bluebook is a few years old but value should be decent as it was made by FN. Remington made Model 8s from 1906-1936 in different calibers as well as 35. Great gift ya got there.

    Your welcome philly. As you can see not many made by FN so yours should be worth a premium. Nice to have in 35 Rem as you can get shells for it. Anxious to see your other guns . Best wishes.

    Thought these were in 351 self loading caliber not 35 remington ?.

    Remington model 8's were made in 25, 32, 35 cal. Belgium only made them in 35 cal. (9mm) semi-auto (self loading). As far as I know.
