I'm I've just had the gun delivered and I can't find the Deac proof house stamps where would they be on a hmg ?

There dosnt appear to be a norm but recently theyve been near the serial number and on or near any work caried out. i.e. the cut angle across the face of the breech block, near where a flash eliminator/ muzzle brake may have been welded on. The Birmingham marks have been getting smaller and quite week recently, I'm thinking the BPH are using a punch whereas the LPH appear to be using a pantograph.

I found some marks however they where not where I throught they're I'm happy ! Bloody heavy and bit big ! The only issues I have is that the paint is flakey ? But it's ofrom ww2 so it's to be expected !
