Savage No4 Mk1*

Article about: Hello gents, This is my Savage No4 Mk1*. These are pretty much the only markings on it apart from the odd square S here and there and the size of the butt stamped underneath in the woodwork.

    Here you go,

    My FN Hi Power

Lugerlout believed it to be 1970 but I pointed out it was probably more 1950s as it's a Mk1. No disrespect to him but I wouldn't have said it was unique or historical, certainly a very clean example but not unique.

    Thanks for that,

interesting thread, and Im not too sure what to make of it.
Lovely weapon, but like you wonder where the "uniqueness" of it is?
Glad its still possible to actually own and shoot these things. But I do wonder what the right credentials are?
