    Hello guys, my father gifted me this old revolver and I think It's Belgian but I am not sure so I would appreciate if you could help me out!

    Also this marking R * Y with a crown above the R

    Some kind of Belgian pocket revolver?

    The number 48 above the trigger

    Some kind of Belgian pocket revolver?

    All I know about this revolver is that It my grandfather's uncle gave it to my father and that it is from the second world war.

    The R with the crown above it is a Belgian proof mark, the Y is a year code i think. It's much earlier than WW2 though.
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    They were called Bulldog. There are hundreds of models, all different, made by local armourers in the region of Li├Ęge (Luttich). They are most of the time copies of patented existing models.
    The most used caliber was .380 black powder.
    Search on Internet pictures with: Belgian bulldog revolvers. You 'll probably see yours.

    Wow that poor gun has seen better days. My advice is stay away from hot loads. LOL
