Re: Soviet Infantry weapons collection
Hi Olzhas, thanks for your comments. I have a Nagant revolver on my shopping list There are many nice ones for sale in the UK here:
http://www.rytonarms.co.uk/site/home.php
I got to shoot an SKS live with the British Army last year. They are nice little rifles. Did you know that the design is just the same as the PTRS but made smaller? Compare the bolt and bolt carrier. Some prototypes were used in the Battle of Berlin. These had a spike bayonet, similar to an M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine.(That rifle is also on my shopping list!)
My rifles are dated:
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine. Serial number “NP9068“. Dated 1942. Made by Izhvesk Arsenal.
Mosin Nagant M91/30 Rifle. Serial number “18361“. Dated 1934. Hexagonal receiver. Made by Tula Arsenal.
Mosin Nagant M91/30 Rifle. Serial number “HE732“. Dated 1942. Round receiver. Laminate birch stock. Made by Tula Arsenal.
Cheers, Ade.

SVT40 is a stunning semi-auto riffle for sure.
