Greetings to all!
Want to show my collection - PU sniper scopes, produced in 1940-1945.
I try to display all existing types (factory\marking type\tube type\finish, etc).

This is outstanding info and beautifully presented. Very well done!
Here is mine from 1943 I think..

I always love seeing your collection photos. You'll find a few of us from Gunboards over here, too! I'm Devious6 over there.
That is great thanks!
I plan to restore an ex sniper rifle with it in the long term. Just need to find the right rifle for it. I will buy a live one.
Cheers, Ade.

Ade,
I recently picked up my next ex-sniper restoration rifle. It's a 1943 Tula refurbished rifle - now in a laminate stock. I have the mount - still need to get a rail (this rifle was originally tapped at the 53.5mm spacing) and am not sure if I will invest in another scope or just plan to use one of my others. Knowing my normal ways, though, some good deal will come around for a scope and I'll jump on it. Original scopes (without mount) can be found here for around $200.
Here are a few pictures of the rifle: bad lighting but all I have for now.
A also have a nice wartime stock - may put this rifle in it.
