    Default Springfield 03-A3 with Box

Thought I would show you my Remington 1903 A3.

This is a common civilian purchase direct from the US Govt. Obviously with all the surplus firearms in storage.

However, this one came with the original box and paperwork.

It appears to never have been fired since it was purchased back in 1960.

Condition overall is excellent with a few minor scratches on the stock from storage and nice strong arsenal cartouches.

Was shipped collectfrom the Letterkenny Ordnance Depot, Chambersburg Pennsylvania for a whooping $10.00 (plus $4.50 for shipping and handleing.

Only seen one like this on a gun auction site and the asking price was quite high.

Would love any feedback or if anyone has seen many with the box and paperwork.

(btw....I have a line on another one with the paperwork but without the box...)

    Regards,

    Michael

My dad purchased one in 1964 along with a high wood Inland M1 carbine. The boxes are long gone but still have the original paperwork, they came out of an depot in up state New York.

That's is a great pick up, congratulations.
