The model in 8mm x 57 is a M1917 Machine Gunners type for the Dutch army-sighted to 2000m.

PS 'Machine gunner model as it used the same ammo as the Dutch Lewis and Schwarzlose MGs-issued to the crews for use of the same rounds.

IMHO the fit of the stock is well bellow steyr usual standard
    not good
on a diferent plane do you notice the british influence in the but plate appeture for cleening kit?
OH and the relief in the stock for the bolt arm does not beer any relation to the bolt i think its the wrong stock for this rifle ????
also its been re blued over rust pits ??
    cheers ian
