    Nice gun Bill!
These guns can be bought here in Sweden for very reasonable money.
Extra accesories includes metal oilbottle and brass cleaning-rod.
My eyes are getting less good, is this gun in parkerized, slighty rough finish?

    Best regards
    Anders

Nice pistol! The Dutch had some before the war for use by pilots of the Naval Air Arm. FN made of course.

Could you tell me why one would convert this psitol to .380 and would that be a cumbersome task?

    Cheers,
    Emile

My guess is that one would convert this gun to .380 because of better local availability concerning ammunition.
Here in Sweden 9mm Browning Long is still in good supply.
Only downside shooting 9mm browning Long I can think of is that lots of this old ammo has corrosive primers.

A few (FN i think) were captured during WWI from the Turks bearing the great seal of the Sultan (TURAN(S)) on the slide. I have seen them in the war museum in Athens Greece.
    Cheers, Thanos.
