Swiss M1929 Revolver in 7.5mm
I have just bought an M1929 revolver, S/No. 660xx-I can find very little info on these pistols such as the total made and the year of manufacture of my example, also why did the Swiss introduce a new model of such an old fashioned design (the old M1882 single gate loader) given the adoption of the Swiss 1900 Luger semi automatic and then the 1929 Luger-the revolver in question is in unshot, mint condition, extremely well made but extremely outdated-I will post it when I get it added to my license.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The first delivery of revolvers 1929, in February 1933 the last revolvers were delivered in June 1946th
For the army total 18'209 revolvers were manufactured with serial numbers between 50'020 and 68'229.
Source: swisswaffen.com The text you will want is at the bottom of the page on the M29. Run it through google translator from German. Like the example above. Hope it helps.

Thanks-in the interim, I managed to find the info, including the cost difference between making the M1929 revolver and Luger-that's in the subsequent post on the revolver.

Nice one! Revolvers are always a nice classic.
