Hey there, I think it's a Mannlicher-Schönauer M1903.
I agree-it looks like a Mannlicher-Schönauer Model 1903. To get the exact version of it, more photos are needed, though.

Are there any markings on it? Perhaps it has been modified by, say, Greece or another country?

It`s a Japanese Type I rifle.made in Italy for Japan,a Carcano derivative.....Pete.

I agree with Pete the rear of the bolt looks like the Carcano bolt.
Seems to be taking 'rifle cleaning' a little too literally!
