Default Unknown Pocket Revolver....I need an ID

Hello gentlemen. I just came back from the military Show of Shows in Kentucky, and made a great amount of purchases. I bought a German gravity knife, a few fighting knives etc. of which I know the history. But, I bought this pocket pistol becuase of the price and condition. I have no clue of what country made it. It seems like it dates to the later 1800's. I hope someone here knows even the smallest amount of this. Thank you.

Could well be Belgian of the generic type known as a Velodog - originally designed to be carried by cyclists for protection from dogs.

Lots of different designs as seen here:-

    velodog - Google Search

Does it have any markings ?

    Regards

I would, but my camera just died (literally). So I need to find another camera to use, or maybe go out and buy one. Sorry.

I agree with the above responses - ie: Belgian made piece.
Is it a rimfire and do you know the caliber...............?
    Regards,

    Hi Steve,

These types of revolver were mostly .22 centrfire, although .32 calibre was not uncommon. The rounds of .22 centrfire were not as powerful as .22 long rifle and were often loaded with dust shot or rock salt.
