My grandfather is having an auction soon with all of his 20 some guns and we are trying to decide what would be best to leave in the family and what would go the best at auction. Any idea what this might bring? I'm assuming not a whole lot because of the sporterizing.

I would estimate about $75,a collector wouldn`t want it but it`s still a good hunting rifle,if the bore is decent and everything functions......Pete.

Agree Zwerge. Unfortunately with the price of ammo it will be expensive to shoot. Probably in 6.5. Type 99s were 7.7 I believe. I would definately sell if possible.
