    A pic of the full rifle would be best. I don't recognise that bolt type but the woodwork suggests non military to me.

    Edit, I could be wrong, looks like an arisaka perhaps. Japanese in that case.

ID:	523629I know. I'm sorry but those are the only pics I have. I think the stamps in the metal are Japanese. Here is a bayonet that my grandpa also has that has the same stamp.

    It is an original Arisaka rifle as used by the Japanese in WWII. But like many of these rifles, this one met the tragic fate of being 'sporterized'. The stock has been cut down and styled for a hunter. It ruins all collector value, unfortunately.

    The stamp you see if for the Kokura arsenal, I believe. (Happy 5,000 posts to me!) lol

    It`s a type 99 made at Kokura arsenal,I can`t be sure of the series number.
