    helston have bin trying to sell this sterling for a couple of years now ,and the price has dropped by over 1000 in that time

    Isnt that one of the Iraqi Saddam Gold sterlings that were confiscated after the war.

    Hi,
    That Sterling is in the office as you enter the building along with other gold plated weapons. I see them often.

    Yes, I copied it from the one I bought. I will sell the original one now and make a load more. I test fired it today, it works really well. The pistol grip, safety, and folding stock are nice features, apart from that it's just like a sten.

    PS, The magwell design was taken from the Lanchester which was built by Sterling. It's a copy of the Schmeisser MP-28/II, which was developed from the first real submachine gun, the Bergmann M-18 (Maschinenpistole). If something works don't fix it !

    You've made a fantastic job, the only thing that gave it away is the finish, which I think looks a lot better than the original
