    Hello all.
Tell what opinions at you on this model. What characteristics? When Germans began to use the Polish manufacture? The pistol has been found in things of the SS machine gunner in a box for MG belts

Hi Maxim, the German produced the VIS or P35 (P) in three basic versions.

The first ones were identical to the original Polish produced version. Later they did away with the slot for the shoulder stock. (Like on yours. I have one too in my collection) The final guns were made from parts and were assembled at Steyr in Austria. These were much cruder in appearance and they did away with some of the features like the de-cocker and some had cheap wooden grips made from Cheese boxes.

    I like these very much!

    Here is mine:

Hi Maxim, the Polish Forces started making these pistols in 1936 and made about 49,000 guns. In September of 1939 the Germans captured the Radom Arsenal and continued production until the factory was captured by the Russians in January 1945.

Collectors group the VIS/P35(P) into three grades: I for very early Polish style quality guns, II for mid war guns, III for late war.

Yours is a Grade II, when they started producing the final Grade III series, the letter suffix for the change of grades was "Z", serial number 2000.

    The Germans made approx:

    84,900 Grade III.

    144,000 Grade II

    62,000 Grade I.

    Hope this helps?

    Cheers, Ade.

    hello
Many things are very well kept in Karelia. Obviously it is caused by a climate. That I have shown that was in a machine gun box, in it oil and water has spread has not got inside. There was a conservation.
