    Is this a private purchase. I have read that revolvers were available from issue stock but the officer still had to pay for the weapon, same as they had to pay for their uniform. We in the U.K are no longer permitted to own handguns.

    Very nice pistol, thanks for showing it, you and Gary are so lucky to own pistols that are still live. And with histories as well,
    are they still fireable or do you not use them.

    It is the ammo still in it's original packaging.
