Well, She wanted a rifle to shoot around and look what she came back with.
I'd say she is worth keeping!
Thanks

Very nice! What can you tell us about it? Matching? How is the bore?
That's pure luck there!
Well She is a history teacher and she wanted to shoot history!
The bore is very nice, no pitting or anything and the rifling is good!
All matching except the bolt but sadly faint import marks on the barrel.
I'll say. How many other wives of collectors actually take an active part
in the hobby like yours does, Cody ? Not many I'd bet !
Three cheers to the your wife, her rifle, and your lucky self.........!
Regards,
Steve.
I don't think very many like you said!
I'll post some pictures of her collection one of these days. She collects WWII Pin ups as of late!
She certainly has a beautiful piece of history there......... !
Regards,
Steve.
WOW! She's already in the reloading room making up some bullets for it!
I handload most calibers and it makes me feel safer (No corrosive powders and primers) plus its cheaper!
8x57mm Mauser =$38 a box! (non surplus)
