Ww2 japanese canvas rifle sling ???

Article about: Hello what are your thoughts on this sling is it a rifle sling or sword belt there are no markings at all I was thinking Japanese?? Annoyed from this ads?   thank you for your time and

    I know nothing about Japanese gear but it looks more like a carry strap from a bag or something. The stitching isn't heavy enough for a rifle sling.

    It looks like some type of carry strap to me. Below is a photo of my Type II Paratrooper with a Correct Japanese Canvas sling. Not the double claw hook on the ends of the sling. Hope that helps.

    Glad to help you out. Anyone know what a canvas sling and or rig would sell for? I always wondered. I got it with the rifle and bayonet 30 years ago.
