    I had a USGI version of one of these once. I traded it for a helmet. They are very nice and have a great feel to them. You must be very proud!

    Great lookin M1A1 Command450...what is your barrel date? here is my 1-43 M1A1 Carbine.

    man, that looks great,with all early parts too.thanks for sharing it mine is 11-42 inland serial # range 107XXX

    data from Ruth's War Baby book shows

    inland contract # W-294-ORD-830
    may,1942 through sept. 1943 for 336,698 units of MI and MIAI's serial # 100-999,999

    and a oct through dec. 1943 batch serial #'s 2,912,520-3,212,519 of another mix of both

    if this data is correct
