Hate to jump in here, but I have found that the chinese wood is really soft. We in the gun world would call it chinese piss elm. I have to be careful as my wife is chinese.
    Have a good day Mark.

Eric do you find the Chinese furniture you are using on your Russian SKS is made from a very soft wood it seems like every time I touch mine or use it there is a new scratch or a ding in the wood

Thanks for the reply John (you know the wood is soft when a fly tries to land on the butt stock it gets bogged down and it turns in to a crash site :).

    Guys,

Been offered this sling for my SKS, seems to be missing an attachment on one end, what do you think, is it a Yugo SKS sling ??

    Cheers
