Default Yugoslavian SKS PAP M59/66, My Latest Acquisition

Just thought I would display my latest addition to the growing collection !

Yugoslavian SKS PAP M59/66 in mint condition with Grenade, in Deactivated condition

Been haggling over this for the past few weeks, I know it’s not WW2 issue, but I thought for the money I finally paid would be wrong not to snap it up !!

All matching numbers, T-675562. Was produced in 1983, estimated 7000-13000 produced that year. Also has 84462 engraved in a couple of places, not sure what this is meant to denote ?? Any ideas ??

The seller is a true Firearms enthusiast, has many items, and does have an interesting tale to tell on how this weapon arrived in this country, I will not elaborate on that at this point in time, it may be all supposition

Sorry for the pictures, my PC monitor has broken, off to buy a nice LED one later, having to use my little laptop at the moment !!

    Thanks for looking !!!

    Cheers

    M

Never realised these were made so late.

    Good example.

I agree with Glenn: They are great to shoot. I have only fired 10 rounds with one, but I enjoyed it.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Ade

Glad you like it !! The last ones were produced in 1989,between 300-1300.

Do you think the 2 marks are significant on the stock, they look like they have been made with a knife

    Cheers

    I just love the SKS.
Mine is a Russian SKS paid 150.00$ Back in 1992.
I use the stock off of a Chinese one so as not to scratch up the original.
