    Nice helmet, post war green repaint, War time ones are this colour and have this type liner

    yes very bad post war green repaint ..... in several places to see how paint strainers.

    sorry srb ,just dug mine out from the collection ,condition wise the liners show the same blackening , my example shows a similar liner pattern to rene's,im still yet to learn what the three stripes represented ,the liner has lots of owner markings Click image for larger version.

    liners is similar german ww2 liner........... and not have stitch like yours liner

    They did a decent repaint on this one.

    Has anyone ever seen any markings to these shells? I'm thinking any ink marking would be covered on mine if they exist.
