    Swiss ! - Vegar has me corrected.............!

    These are available today as surplus. I purchased one recently,
    as they are cheap enough ($20) and very well designed.

    Walkwolf is correct ,ebay got them 24$ not very collectable.

    Vegar is right. This is a Swiss helmet. Model 18/40 most likely. Worn into the seventies. Look at Joseba's indispensable site!

    I think every helmet collector should have one of these in their collection, it's a high quality european steel helmet, made just as good as the early WWII German helmets.

    it's an interesting helmet and displays very nicely, I added a Swiss camo cover and it looks nice displayed with my Swiss bayonet and Luger.
