    Hi SADolch,

    This is a Dutch M34 helmet. This particular helmet was reissued after the war, in the early fifties, to he Civil Defense and a new liner was fitted. Under this grey coat there should be a olive green coat.

    BTW: Pre war Dutch helmets are generally known as M16, M27 and M34. These are the years of acceptance by the war department. There also was a colonial helmet called the KNIL helmet, accepted in 1936.
