Right guys both the M40 and M62 shell will have the the W stamp as both made in the same factory only the wartime helmets have the sticker , you may find sometime shells used post war with the m62 liner fitted

What a great find. Very difficult to obtain and usually beat to death when found.
This is the first one I had, which I traded away with the helmet in the first pictures here. Outside repainted in white (post war spray paint by previous owner), swedish liner also replaced by the previous owner. 72W
