French m26 or Italian m17 Adrian helmet?

Article about: Got a chance to pick this up for \\$65 and wanted to get your guys opinion on it, what is throwing me off is the dome with lack of rivets which is telling me Italian m17, sorry for the blurry

    It looks like you picked up a very interesting helmet. As battlegear said it makes sense that they experimented with a few methods of manufacture. When it arrives I would be very interested to see what the liner mounts look like and how they are mounted.

    It looks like you have an early M26 variant, strange that it has an M37 badge, but it looks like it has been there some time. Plenty of room for hypothesis, congrats on winning it.
