French m26/ spanish helmet with writing on it ???

what are your thoughts on this helmet it is being offered to me
anyone know what the writing means regt OR unit markings
it is a m26 French correct?

It is French M26, and interestingly doesn't have the slots to mount the badge on the front which points to it being a Spanish purchase helmet.

Personally, I'm not sure about the writing, 'COMPANIA' looks to be written over the rust. Very interesting.
