    Hi Guys,

I brought this helmet in a job lot of military items recently, however I am unsure precisely as to what it is and when it dates from as I've seen a couple different helmets of a similar style, mainly czech and soviet. Can anyone help me out here?

    Thanks
    Matt

It's a modified M50, they had updated liners and chinstraps fitted starting in 1970 hence the 50/70 designation. They crop up for sale now and again but are not as common as a lot of other eastern bloc lids!...
