    It is Spanish.

    As Zwerge stated; it is Spanish. The decal is a fake of course. Have a look at this site: ESPAÑOL Z 42

    It`s Spanish with a terribly in-acurate decal. (im guesing someone was trying to sell it for more $ as German) If you bought this for more than $20 dollars you were ripped off!!!

    They also removed the metal piece from the front of the helmet....

    This is a late version of a Spanish M42. As the guys have said, a very poor attempt to fool the unwary, especially that photocopy of a decal.The part that holds the badge on the front has been removed.

    it took a long time to sell 3 spanish helmets at 10 dollars ea
