Hello, is there anyone can identify this helmet? The seller say this helmet is the fireman helmet. Is this true? And is there any possibility this helmet once an army helmet?
Thank you in advance.

Hi, i recently saw a helmet the same as this in an antique shop in Manchester, it had the same shade of blue paint as was being sold as a French fire brigade helmet. Not sure if its accurate but that's what it was labeled as.
That would be my guess given the silver comb and extension to guard the neck.
Hello
for sure, not french
have a look here, may be you can find

Wow i never realized someone will answer this! Thank you!
According to the Das weltweit einzigartige Feuerwehrmuseum | Hotel Burgfrieden this helmet is a 1920's model worn by french fire helmet or by french marine .
And i finally buy this helmet
The liner similar with American liner
The liner backside.
Comb screw
Rear seam
Chinstrap holder using british style?
Old paint (blue)
And during browsing I found these photos in the biak museum in papua
Check the far right helmet
And I try to photograph my helmet on the same angle.
And this is the latest photo i found from that museum
And i also found a similar helmet sell in here. But in red color
Maybe the original color is blue and repainted for the indonesian fire brigade in red color. Because i found a trace of red color in my helmet too.
Anyway i believe this is a french fire helmet made in america during latter part of war. If we look at the liner emplacement and rear made seam. And maybe this helmet was once deployed in the papua theater of war since the same helmet was found in the biak museum. Could it be this helmet is a fire helmet for the french colony in pacific? Is there anyone have any information about this? Or is there anyone can provide the other explanation. Because so far this is my most mysterious helmet i ever have.
Glad to be of help.
not my cup of tea but a nice lid all the same,i really like the patina of the shell and the unusual use of the A washers on the liner this also might represent a post ww2 helmet as it uses the same liner fixings as the otan m1951 regards james
