Help With Japanese and German Helmets

Hi folks,

I'm just starting out in the helmet collecting game, and would love some advise on a couple of helmets. Thank you very much in advance for any information you can give me.
What is the Japanese helmet? I have NO idea.
The German helmet was taken from a POW in 1945 in Vienna. I think it's a WW1 one that was used later in WW2. The decal seems to be under most of the paint...

Hi Henrik,

The Japanese helmet is a Civil Defense helmet of WW2 era.

The German M16 has been maltreated. I can not make out the decal. The paint seems to be a later addition.
