Thank you Matthew I have tried my utter most nest to twist my wife's arm in having a permanant living room display but no chance thank you MD yes well spotted on the battledress ,here is a link early israeli battle dress jacket ,thanks for the info regarding the mk11 ,the shell itself does have a washed out look to it like its been in a high temperature environment ,i think the members who commented over on the British and Commonwealth section focused on the Israeli chinstrap but there is no smoking gun to prove otherwise ,thanks for your thoughts friend

here's my IDF tank helmet it's a bit bitten up and still smell's like the sinai desert. The guy i got it from had a current IDF tank helmet the week before i found this and i missed it
P.S are all idf helmets welcome or just ones used in 1967 to 1982 ?

Your welcome Robin, translation of anything in Hebrew that has " in the middle isn't easy, it signifies the initials of an organization, that if you don't know what the options are you are in the dark, I had to get help from a higher power (the wife) who in turn resorted to a Hebrew search engine for confirmation.
